Barcelona printed Jules Kounde Jersey by mistake

Jules Kounde seems to be on his way to Barcelona. The French Defender was really close to joining the English side Chelsea and had agreed on personal terms. It was then Xavi contacted Kounde and convinced him that Barcelona is the best place he can be at. The 23-year-old had a long summer with rumors regarding his move to different European Giants. But, now it seems that Kounde has chosen his next club.

Barcelona although have not announced the transfer officially it seems to be almost done. Reports have been there about how Jerseys with the name of Kounde are available in the Club’s official stores. These reports were later confirmed by some fans when they noticed Jerseys with Kounde’s name on them. The jerseys were later removed but it does indicate that the signing is almost done.

Jules Kounde was one of the most sought-after centre-backs in the summer. The 23-year-old is very versatile and can play at the full-back position also. Xavi was desperate to add Kounde to the team with the qualities that he has. Ronald Araujo and Jules Kounde can be the future of the Barcelona defense for years to come. The duo complements each other perfectly.

Chelsea left frustrated again by Barcelona

In the summer when they lost out to their 2 main central defenders, Chelsea were always going to explore the market. The Blues were after a certain amount of players and were very close to signing them. It was until Barcelona jumped into the scene and were successful in signing every one of Chelsea’s targets.

Ousmane Dembele rumored to be at Chelsea, renewed with Barcelona. Brazilian Raphinha also chose the Catalans over Chelsea. Polish Forward Lewandowski did not even listen to offers from any other club except Barcelona. Jules Kounde had agreed to personal terms agreed with Chelsea until Barcelona hijacked his signing. It really has been a frustrating summer for Chelsea, who have just been left in the mud by the Blaugranas.
