Barcelona prioritizing exit operations of three players by June 30

Barcelona ‘s transfer window plan has started to gain momentum. In order to act quickly, the club must complete a series of exits before properly integrating new players into its roster. Due to the financial constraints imposed by La Liga, ensuring the exits of players is a critical requirement for Barcelona. Some reports claim Lenglet’s and Umtiti’s departures could get finalised within this week.

Barcelona might sell three players by the end of this June

According to SPORT, the Barcelona board closely monitors the departures of players who are unimportant to Xavi, particularly those who have recently returned from loans and are costly to the squad. Gustavo Maia, Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti, Sergino Dest, and Collado are the players in concern. The five will cost Barcelona more than €50 million in the upcoming season. As a result, the La Liga winners want to get rid of them as quickly as they can this summer. And, according to the report, three of them – Lenglet, Umtiti, and Collado – could be out by June 30.

Lenglet, Umtiti and Collado are on the exit ramp

Lenglet is likely the first one of the aforementioned names. The French central defender came back to Barcelona after finishing his loan period at Spurs. But the English club seems satisfied with his performance. Spurs is in talks with the club about a permanent deal, offering to pay €5 million for him. Xavi and the club’s sports department adore Lo Celso. Barça believes that a deal with Tottenham can be struck to make it a low-cost business. Clément Lenglet might be included in the deal.

After then, Umtiti and Collado could say their final goodbyes. Following his resurgence in Leece, Umtiti, in particular, has a good chance of finding a new home shortly. Samuel Umtiti is being pursued by Olympique Lyonnais and a Saudi Arabian team. Barça might negotiate a letter of freedom for him in order to save his €20 million salary. Besiktas also enquired Barca about Dest, Collado, Umtiti, and Kessie.

Collado is the third player to be on his way out of Barcelona. He is already aware that he is not a member of the first team, and his agent has been approached by Las Palmas, Granada, and a few Greek clubs.

Dest and Gustavo Maia are also on the departure ramp, in addition to these players. These Young players are unlikely to attract high offers, but they do free up wage margins.
