Barcelona have made it official that Hector Bellerin and Marcos Alonso are 2 new signings for the season 22/23. Alonso was a player that had links to Barcelona for a long time. Personal terms were agreed upon months ago but a fee was not decided between Chelsea and Barcelona. Bellerin, meanwhile, came as a free agent. The contract termination with Arsenal was done on the last day and his signing was also done in the last hours. Both Bellerin and Alonso have been signed on a 1-year deal only. Reasons for this were earlier not known but now it seems to be.
As per reports, Barcelona had problems registering them due to FFP regulations. Because of this, they could only register them with short-term contracts with low salaries.
