Xavi feels delighted as Barcelona Stars return to training
Xavi Hernandez was given some encouraging news. Three of their injured stars returned to training and participated in the session with the group. According to Sport, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and Ousmane Dembele were all back in training with the group. Diario AS acknowledged the news, and they were also able to share additional details on their current state of recovery.
According to their sources, Pedri and de Jong are expected to return for the match against Atletico Madrid. They have a chance to start as well. Dembele appears to be an alternate scenario as well to clarify. The French winger is a major doubt for their meeting next Sunday. Most importantly, the fact that he has returned to training just under three months after his initial injury is encouraging. According to reports, Barcelona may bring back the Frenchman for the games against Rayo or Real Betis. In addition Barcelona enters the game against Atletico with no goals in their last three games. Barca faces in-form Diego Simeone’s men who won their last six matches in a row in La Liga. Atletico scored 15 goals along the way and conceded just three in their last six games.
In conclusion Barcelona were yelling out for inventiveness in recent games, as evidenced by their worst attacking run in 15 years. Therefore Pedri and de Jong would allow them a little more creativity against an in-form Atletico Madrid.
