Aston Villa has suffered a setback as a result of Ferran Torres, claims Spanish news outlet Fichajes. In the summer transfer window, the 23-year-old is unwilling to leave Barcelona. The Blaugrana, who desired to recover €42 million from his sale, would also be impacted by his decision.

Since moving to Barcelona from Manchester City over 18 months ago, Ferran Torres’ reputation has deteriorated. In order to get into the top four the next season, Aston Villa will therefore enter the market in search of numerous elite performers. In order to strengthen the attacking unit this summer, Ferran Torres has thus become one of the targets. Aston Villa must also buy a winger because Ollie Watkins isn’t receiving enough assistance from the other attackers.
