Barcelona youngster Ez Abde has offers from Spain and England

There were several conflicting rumours about FC Barcelona winger Ez Abde’s future. The 21-year-old speedster spent the 2022/23 season on loan at CA Osasuna. He has been regarded as the club’s only loanee to get an opportunity next season. Indeed, rumours last week claimed that Barcelona thought he was fit to play at the highest level and intended to keep him beyond the summer.

Barcelona youngster Ez Abde might leave the club if Ansu Fati stays

However Gerard Romero reports that Abde is looking to leave this summer. Romero says that he has already received offers from clubs in England and Spain. The 21-year-old Moroccan had a successful loan term with Osasuna, where he scored six goals and two assists in all competitions. He lead the club to reach seventh in La Liga and runners-up in the Copa del Rey.

With speculations linking players such as of Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati to exits from Barcelona this summer, it was certain that Abde might be a viable choice to replace the Catalans’ left flank. However, there are rising concerns over Fati leaving the club. Earlier this month, the forward’s agent Mendes indicated that the player has no wish to leave Barça. Following that, the young La Masia graduate stated last night that he intends to remain in Barcelona. As a result, if Fati stays at the club, Abde’s chances of moving out will only increase, as the youngster is eager to play regularly.

When it comes to that, the Moroccan star has plenty of alternatives, with clubs from the Premier League and La Liga battling for his signature. Bayer Leverkusen, another Bundesliga team, has previously expressed interest in the attacker.

Xavi Hernández believes that Ez Abde is the only loanee from Barcelona that might get the opportunity to shine. The coach wants him for the American tour but is open to letting him go if a substantial offer comes through. So it will be exciting to watch whether Abde stays in Barcelona or leaves eventually this summer.
