Departures: foreign quartet leave FC Jamshedpur

Four foreign players from Jamshedpur FC ‘s roster have been released. Defender Dylan Fox, midfielder Rafael Crivellaro, strikers Harry Sawyer and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.

Prior to the 2022–23 season, Thomas and Sawyer joined the team. But Crivellaro and Fox came in the winter transfer window in the middle of the season.

Thomas made moreover 21 appearances for the Men of Steel as a rookie in the Hero ISL. And managed to score twice in both the Hero ISL and the Hero Super Cup. Due to his versatility, the 32-year-old was used in a variety of roles under head coach Aidy Boothroyd, from a center-forward to a central midfielder.

Sawyer, who spent the majority of his playing career in Australia, joined Jamshedpur FC to make his Hero ISL debut. The attacker participated in 22 games with the Men of Steel and contributed to 10 goals, scoring five times and providing five assists in the Hero ISL and Hero Super Cup.

Meanwhile, Crivellaro was crucial to Chennaiyin FC’s remarkable run to the final in the 2019–20 season, and in the middle of the 2022–23 campaign, he transferred to Jamshedpur FC. With two goals and four assists in 13 games for his team in the Hero ISL and the Hero Super Cup, the Brazilian established his presence under Boothroyd.

Dylan Fox joined Jamshedpur FC after spending the previous season working for FC Goa. Fox, who was added as a backup at the back, didn’t play in a single game. For the Men of Steel during the 2022–23 campaign.
