Erling Haaland prefers a move to La Liga rather than moving to the Premier League after leaving Borussia Dortmund. The Norwegian is the next big thing in world football and he has proved it with his performances. Reports in the past suggested that he is keen on moving to any Premier League club. But now it is being reported that the football played in La Liga excites him more than the type of football played in England.

The 21-year-old is on the radar of some Rich and Elite Clubs all over Europe. Haaland had a release clause of €175 Million earlier this summer which made him Untouchable for most of the clubs. In addition to that, his agent Mino Raiola will also demand a Fee in the region of €40 Million for a brokering move for Haaland. He will be the subject of an intense transfer battle when his release clause activates next summer.

It is going to be very interesting to see where Haaland will end up at the end of this season. Despite all the interest from Foreign clubs, he has not ruled out staying another year at the Signal Iduna Park. Borussia Dortmund is reportedly going to open talks with Haaland to convince him to stay at the club for at least another season.

Erling Haaland dreams of playing in La Liga and he doesn’t like the Premier League says Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio

Several clubs in England are in the race for the signature of the Dortmund scoring sensation. Premier League giants Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all closely monitoring his situation. All the clubs mainly in England and Spain will try to land him into their team.

According to Football Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Haaland isn’t too keen on the Premier League switch. He would instead prefer to remain in the Bundesliga or move to Spain. This news is a disappointing one for all the PL clubs, who were hoping to sign him for €75 Million at the end of this Campaign.

Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich was also monitoring his situation at Dortmund. However, Bayern’s CEO Oliver Kahn has ruled out his side’s chances of signing the striker in 2022. Spanish rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid are also thought to be interested in the Norwegian and it appears that the La Liga duo may be the frontrunners.

“He doesn’t like Premier League too much. It is not in his dreams. It is not the perfect league at the moment. He prefers La Liga and he likes La Liga a lot. So, I think in his thoughts, La Liga is the perfect tournament, now, to play in. Or Bundesliga, where he is currently playing.”

said Di Marzio speaking to German outlet Wettfreunde

“So it is not sure that he’ll leave in the summer. Borussia Dortmund thinks that for his career, another year there should be the right step.”

he added

“I don’t know what Mino Raiola thinks about it. I think Raiola wants to get him out of Borussia Dortmund because after two years there it is important for him to have another challenge. So I think he will try to find the right solution for him.”.
