Jadon Sancho : Man Utd told winger to leave club this summer

Jadon Sancho - Manchester United

Manchester United fallen star Jadon Sancho has been a reformed man after joining Dortmund in the January transfer window.

United will have looked at Sancho’s effort in getting Borussia Dortmund into the Champions League final. As it could spark a summer move for him back to the German club. Dortmund is keen on a permanent deal for their former winger.

Jadon Sancho to leave Man United this summer

Though his 1st season was decent, a toxic relationship with Erik Ten Hag had the winger omitted from matchday squads. But now his rebirth at Dortmund means that the German club are interested in permanently ending his nightmare at Old Trafford.

United have told Sancho that he can leave the club, alongwith Mason Greenwood. This comes despite Sancho getting back to his best in recent weeks in his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho and Greenwood will both return to United at the end of their loan spells. The ‘plan’ is to sell both players in the summer for a huge rebuild aiming for £70million and £80million for the pair. Although a deal could for Sancho seems easier as of right now.

Concrete discussions between United and Dortmund will likely take place after the Champions League final.

The duo have a strong working relationship amid Sancho’s loan move in January. After having received the majority of Sancho’s £6.5million loan fee as a result of Dortmund reaching the final, United are happy with the financial reward.

There is one drawback though. Both clubs need to work around FFP regulations and so finding a deal that suits all parties will be key to any move.

Though any deal taking him back to Germany could even smash Dortmund’s transfer record. Which is the £30million they spent on Ousmane Dembele. Although their increased finances after their run to the final could help that immensely.

One thing that is certain though is that Sancho won’t stay this summer if Ten Hag remains United boss. The duo have had a terrible fallout after Sancho refused to apologise to Ten Hag after his comments on social media. It will be best for both parties to move on from this nightmare.

Although it remains to be seen if Ten Hag’s removal could yet impact Sancho’s decision. But there seems to be no indication whatsoever from United that Ten hag won’t stay for the next season.

Also Ineos are planning with Ten Hag as the United manager.
