Ferdinand Trains with Arsenal Senior Team

Some Arsenal academy players are training with the senior team. Seb Ferdinand is a talent among them that is looked up to.

Several Gunners academy players participated in first-team training in London Colney on Friday, according to Arsenal youth team analyst Jeorge Bird.

Participants in the session were Taylor Foran, Daniel Oyetunde, Charles Sagoe Jr., Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Reuell Walters, Khayon Edwards, and Seb Ferdinand.

West Bromwich Albion and Arsenal Under-21s were supposed to meet in Premier League 2 on Friday. But a frozen surface forced the postponement of the game.

For Arsenal, Seb Ferdinand has had a successful season thus far. In every youth tournament, he has four goals and two assists to his name.

The 17-year-old winger has appeared in eight Under-18 Premier League games, scoring two goals and providing an assist. In two EFL Trophy appearances, he has added two goals and one assist.

Midweek was Ferdinand’s most recent excursion. However he played in the UEFA Youth League match, which Arsenal lost 2-0, as a replacement for the Under-19s against Lens.

“We’ve set him goals to score more, provide more assists, and improve his position.

Ferdinand appears to be a gifted player, and it’s encouraging to see him participate in senior training. He’ll get a priceless experience although it is in anticipation that he will continue to grow in the upcoming years.
