Gurmukh Singh, the Punjab-born defender, started his youth career with East Bengal. In 2020–21, Gurmukh Singh signed with Techtro Swades but later joined Minerva Academy.
In 2021–22, Gurmukh signed for Garhwal FC but soon switched to Rajasthan United within a few months. During this time, Gurmukh Singh displayed solid defensive performances and got attention from Chennaiyin FC. Next year, in 2022, Chennaiyin FC signed Gurmukh for their ISL team.

The 5.8-foot defender started his professional career at Techtro Swadesh. Gurmukh made 10 appearances for them. Later, he played in the I-League and the I-League 2nd Division for Rajasthan United.
Gurmukh has played six I-League 2nd Division matches and 16 I-League matches for Rajasthan United. Later, he made his ISL debut with Chennaiyin FC. Gurmukh has played in 10 ISL games for the Marina Machans.

Sreenidi Deccan has retained their Portuguese head coach, Carlos Vaz Pinto, and also extended the contract of captain Faysal Shayesteh. They have also signed ISL-experienced defender Eli Sabia.
The I-League club has also secured the signings of Brazilian forward William and experienced midfielder Kean Lewis. They have also signed Lalnuntluanga, Subhankar Adhikari, and Pawan Kumar. With these new signings, Sreenidi Deccan FC is expected to display a dominating performance, which will lead them to their dream of winning the I-League.
