About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

David Grande Serrano the 30-year-old from Spain is set to leave Jamshedpur FC. David would be returning to his Country as his contract with Indian Super League Jamshedpur FC has expired last Monday.

It seems that David has received offers from 3 different clubs in Spain. So it won’t be surprising if David returns to his motherland. David joined Jamshedpur last year in January. Since then David has played only 318 minutes of football in the 20/21 season, appearing in 6 matches, and has scored 2 goals.

The reason behind this is David’s Knee Injury and it is fair to say that it is also the reason behind his departure from the club. David has failed to make any contributions to the team except his goals-against Bengaluru FC and Mumbai City FC.

David’s Journey from Marchamalo to Jamshedpur FC

David made his professional debut in 2010 with Marchamalo FC, Marchamalo team plays in Tercera division group 18. Grande scored 12 goals in 37 appearances there. After that David was bought by Fuenlabrada in 2011 but failed to perform there. So, he joined Illescas in the same season but failed to perform there also scoring 1 goal in 20 matches.

But, In his 2013 when he joined Albacete B, David found his form back and scored 19 goals in just 33 matches. The team promoted him to the main squad of Albacete but, was soon sold to Getafe B. He played only one season there with a below-average performance and then again he was sold to the Segunda division team Algeciras where he played for 1 season.

Then David joined Alzira where he gave the best performance of his career, scoring 20 goals in 31 matches. But again he joined another team the very next season, David joined Lialted another Spanish side where he scored 16 goals in 37 matches. After changing 14 clubs in 10 years David finally joined Jamshedpur FC on a one-year contract in 2020. Now, rumors say David is again ready for his next adventure but not sure where it’s going to be.
