Juventus board has decided to not sack Massimiliano Allegri for the time being

Serie A has started in an exciting fashion yet again and Juventus has failed to start positively this season. The Bianconeri have struggled to get results and sit outside the top 6 of the league table. However, despite the slump in form and results, Massimiliano Allegri has nothing to worry about his job.

There were a few rumors last week about the sacking of Max Allegri and the appointment of a new manager. Club Vice President, Pavel Nedved is reportedly not impressed by the Italian manager at all and wants him out of the club. However, the recent board meeting has reiterated that they are not looking to change managers.

Juventus were reportedly looking to re-sign Antonio Conte from Tottenham Hotspur as a replacement for Allegri. However, any potential agreement with Antonio Conte was described as difficult due to the strained relationship between the parties.

Juventus desperately need to turn their form around

The Bianconeri finished last season without any trophies and barely qualified for UEFA Champions League. However, another season without a trophy will be a disaster for Juventus. The fans have higher expectations from the club and two successive trophyless seasons will not go down well with them.

Massimiliano Allegri needs to change his tactics and quickly turn around the form of the squad. If the club does not start winning football matches comfortably then they will be in a tough spot. The upcoming weeks are very busy as a large chunk of matches will be played before the FIFA World Cup break.

Juventus has already lost the opening two matches in the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica. The Old Lady needs to win their remaining matches in order to have any chance of qualifying through the group. It is extremely important for the team to start getting results amid this increasing pressure on Max Allegri!!
