After the 24-year-old’s latest revelation regarding his current contract, future of Kylian Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain has been the subject of heated speculation in recent weeks. Mbappe’s current contract with PSG expires next summer, but he has the option of extending it for another year. He has, however, notified the club’s management that he does not intend to do so. Thereby implying that he will be free to depart.

Real Madrid offers a world record deal for signing Kylian Mbappe

PSG does not want this to happen. Hence they would prefer to part with him this summer if he intends to leave anyhow. They may get what they want, according to a claim from PSG Community that Real Madrid have negotiated a €250 million agreement to sign Mbappe.

Real Madrid appears to be closer to signing Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward Kylian Mbappe. Real Madrid is expected to pay an upfront price of €200 million, with an additional €50 million in bonuses. Mbappe’s acquisition would be the most expensive in history, surpassing the €222 million paid by PSG to Barcelona for Neymar in 2017. Los Blancos are now passionate about signing Mbappe, as reported by Marca journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon. A deal for the Frenchman might be finalised before pre-season, possibly within the next two weeks.

The Frenchman joined the Parc des Princes from AS Monaco for €180 million in 2018. During his career in Paris, he has ended as the top scorer in Ligue 1 five times. Kylian Mbappe has been one of Europe’s most lethal attackers during the 2022-23 season. In 43 appearances across competitions, he netted 41 goals as well as providing 10 assists as PSG won the Ligue 1 title.

Real Madrid will now take advantage of Mbappe’s disagreement with the Ligue 1 winners. His arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu appears to be imminent. It remains to be seen whether these claims are true, but if they are, Real Madrid could have filled the void left by Karim Benzema’s departure to Al-Ittihad by bringing in one of the world’s top players.
