Spanish media have ripped Kylian Mbappe after the Frenchman decided to renew his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

The 23-years-old was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid. And it was thought the youngster will join Los Blancos for free this summer. However, the forward has changed his mind and decided to sign a three-year contract with Les Parisiens.

La Liga have reportedly complained about the French club to UEFA and French authorities about the Financial Fairplay rules. After the Frenchman’s U-turn.

Meanwhile, the Spanish media(via Daily Mail) have slammed the decision of Kylian Mbappe to extend his contract with PSG. The Frenchman has reportedly signed a huge deal financially.

Spanish outlet Marca has labeled the 23-years-old as classless. Stating ‘It takes a lot of class to play in Madrid.’ On the other hand, AS has published a headline saying ‘He’s missing out.’ And the outlet continued by saying, ‘Mbappe prefers PSG’s money to Madrid’s legend.’

Meanwhile, Catalan media which are more Barcelona-centric weren’t as aggressive as the other media companies were. Moreover, they took a sly dig at Real Madrid.

Will Kylian Mbappe find success at PSG?

PSG have shown they are a poorly run club. And despite possessing bucket loads of money. They haven’t been able to find success outside France. Player power is a big issue at the Parc des Princes. The club’s hierarchy buys superstar players without the consent of their manager.

The same situation is here. They have extended the deal with Kylian Mbappe by offering a huge financial benefit. However, they do not know who will be their new manager. Managers can’t implement their style of football in a squad full of superstars. They will not work hard without the possession. And it will prevent tactically shrewd managers from implementing his philosophy.

So, although the 23-years-old has alluded that he signed an extension due to a football project. It is hard to imagine how any coach can bring success on the European stage with the front three of Neymar, Mbappe, and Lionel Messi
