Kylian Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid

PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe has made his intention to join Real Madrid clear. This is according to the latest tweet from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The tweet talks about Mbappe dream to play for Real Madrid. The player wants to fulfil his childhood dream, be it this summer or moving on a free transfer the next summer.

Madrid is considered as the main reason why Mbappe has not signed a new deal with PSG. Madrid have an offer of €160m on the table for the 22-year-old. But PSG rejected it and are not ready to let go of Mbappe.

MADRID ONLY A MATTER OF TIME FOR MBAPPE

The France international is one of the best players on the planet and there is a very high expectation on him. Already a World Cup winner with his nation, Mbappe has been excellent for his club as well. In the 174 appearances he made for PSG, the 22-year-old has scored 133 goals.

As for Real Madrid, the club has been following Mbappe for a long time. With the club currently having a front line of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard up front, it is vital to bring in younger talent to freshen up the attack. If he joins, Mbappe will become the centre around which the club can build for its future.

Madrid is also lacking in goal ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. Benzema was the only player to score in double digits last season, showing the need for a quality attacker in the side. While the club have the likes of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, they are yet to make a consistent contribution to the team.

It is no secret that Real Madrid considers Mbappe as their prime target. The Frenchman will help in starting another Galactico era in Madrid. With only one year left in his contract, the question is whether Los Blancos will pay the hefty sum or wait for another year. With English clubs looking to be out of the race, it is going to be a direct battle between PSG and Real Madrid.
