Liverpool player Mac Allister praises youngster after recent victory

Liverpool

Liverpool celebrated a victorious night against Arsenal, despite initial uncertainties. With numerous injured and unavailable players, the prospect of facing Arsenal at the Emirates appeared to be a daunting challenge for the team.

During the first half, the match at times was proving to be a challenging spectacle. However, Liverpool strategically played their cards, exercised patience. And ultimately took advantage of Arsenal when the Gunners were at a very tight position.

Jurgen Klopp had numerous positives to glean from the game. Particularly appreciating the contributions of some of his fringe players who stepped up. One of these players, who also earned praise from Alexis Mac Allister, made a noteworthy impact.

Liverpool places high hopes in Quansah

Alexis Mac Allister, in his first start for Liverpool since recovering from injury, delivered a commendable performance. Speaking to The Athletic after the game, he promptly lauded the performance of Jarell Quansah. He said:

“Quansah had an amazing game. We know how important players like Virgil, Endo and Mo are for us, but we always say that the other players have to step up and do their job. It’s something we have to keep proving every single game because we are definitely going to miss them.”

It comes as no surprise that Mac Allister is commending Quansah. The Liverpool center-back once again rose to the occasion with an outstanding performance in a time of need. This marks the second consecutive week that a first-team Liverpool player decided to praise the youngster.

Jurgen Klopp couldn’t have more expectations more from Quansah. And it’s evident that the Reds have an absolute diamond in the 20-year-old. His bright future at Anfield seems promising.
