Real Madrid is willing to sign both Mbappe and Haaland from PSG & Dortmund respectively in next season’s summer transfer window. They are ready to offload some players which in turn will help them fund these gigantic deals.
Mbappe and Halland are two of the best forwards in the world and they have always been in the transfer talks. The Frenchman Mbappe, who according to reports has already rejected PSG’s contract offer will be a free agent this summer. Haaland on the other hand has already ripped off the Bundesliga with his sensational performances is looking for a new challenge.
Re-assembeling the Galacticos.
Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez has already set his sights on reassembling the Galacticos. His first step is going after two of the hottest properties of the game i.e Haaland and Mbaape. Real Madrid is also looking to reduce their wage budget and is looking to offload players like Bale, Marcelo, and Isco. The departure of these players will make a way for Halland and Mbappe. Some reports suggest that Madrid is also trying to offload Hazard who has failed to make an impact after his world-record transfer from Chelsea in 2019.
It will be difficult to find buyers for players on expensive contracts, but if the Blancos are willing to talk to interested parties, agreements may be made.
How much will signing Mbappe & Haaland Cost?
The French World cup winner Mbappe was available for more than €200m in the summer of 2021. Real had also made a world record bid to lure the forward but the bid was rejected by PSG. Mbappe whose PSG contract is going to expire this summer could come to Santiago Bernabeau for a total of €120m. This would include his first-year salary along with signing bonuses.
Haaland who is also being targeted by Manchester City in hope of signing a new number 9 will definitely not come cheaply. His agent, Mino Raiola will demand huge signing bonuses which only a few clubs in the world could offer. According to some reports, this deal will cost around €300m which is a huge amount for the 21-year-old Striker.
Both these deals are for Real’s long-term success and competing with the Premier League heavyweights. The deals could go through this summer and the footballing world could witness two of the next generation’s biggest superstars Halland & Mbaape playing together.
