Manchester City plot a £75 Million Bid for Frankie De Jong. The Premier League Champions reportedly have come up with De Jong’s asking price of £75 Million. City’s Bid for the Dutch can improve FC Barcelona’s financial restrictions and help them Fund a move for their Targets. Frankie De Jong is of high regard for City manager Pep Guardiola who has previously appreciated De Jong’s Hard-work and Creativity in the Midfield.
Frankie De Jong was a pillar for Ajax’s team in 2019 when they reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. The Dutchman’s arrival at the Camp Nou was not exactly a smooth deal. Since he came with a reputation, it doesn’t surprise that De Jong was on the radar of multiple European Giants. One of those clubs was Manchester City who wanted to land him in their team before FC Barcelona bagged his services.
The Rise of young La Masia talents like Gavi, Pedri and Riqui Puig is threatening for De Jong’s selection. Once Pedri returns from injury he will replace De Jong in the starting XI.
