Juventus have started the season miserably as the club has lost both their opening Champions League fixtures and struggled to win in Serie A. The Bianconeri have only won two of their first seven Serie A matches and sit in the 8th spot.
Massimiliano Allegri is under immense pressure as the club has failed to win any of their last 5 matches. The Italian manager is expected to be sacked by the board soon if the results continue to disappoint. However, it is in the best interest of all parties that the manager resigns from his position.
It is clear from the playing style of the team that a change tactically is necessary for the players. Massimiliano Allegri has failed to motivate the players and struggled to get the best out of them. Despite signing players like Angel Di Maria, Paul Pogba, and Leandro Paredes this summer the club has struggled to even win consecutively.
Juventus will find it difficult to sack Allegri but he should resign
The Italian Manager has led Juventus to multiple Serie A titles in his first spell and also led them to two Champions League finals. The Club shares a good relationship with the tactician and might find it difficult to sack him after a poor run of results.
However, Massimiliano Allegri should respect the love and affection by the club and resign from his post following a disastrous run of form. The team looks disjointed and has failed to impress anyone on the pitch. Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica comfortably defeated the Bianconeri in their Champions League group games. This shows that the team is not even competitive against the top sides in Europe.
The Old Lady were humiliated by Chelsea last season at Stamford Bridge and subsequently knocked out by Villarreal in the Champions League. This goes to show that the Bianconeri have not been competitive against the European giants since last season. The team desperately needs a change and some fresh ideas for them to turn their season around. Hopefully, Allegri can realize the same and step down from his role to make way for a new manager!!
