The highly anticipated SAFF Cup match between India and Pakistan reignited their age-old rivalry. India dominated the game, defeating Pakistan convincingly with a resounding 4-0 victory.

Indian Brilliance Shines Through
India dominated the second half; furthermore, their midfield trio of Thapa, Borges, and Sahal orchestrated the game and carved open the Pakistani defense.
In the 55th minute, Sahal showcased his dribbling prowess, weaving past defenders before unleashing a powerful shot into the top corner, thus making it 2-0.
Moreover, India’s attacking prowess was further amplified in the 70th minute when Kuruniyan dribbled past defenders on the left flank and delivered a pinpoint cross to Chhetri. Consequently, Chhetri scored with a well-timed header, extending the lead to 3-0.
Led by Jhingan, the Indian defense remained solid, denying the Pakistani attackers any significant chances.
Furthermore, near to the end of the match , Thapa intercepted a loose pass and calmly slotted the ball past the goalkeeper, effectively sealing India’s 4-0 victory.
Overall India’s comprehensive win over Pakistan in the SAFF Cup showcased their exceptional performance. Notably, Chhetri, Udanta Singh, Sahal, Lalpekhlua, and Kuruniyan were standout performers contributing significantly to the triumph and emphasizing India’s prowess on the regional stage.
