Mourinho wants Real Madrid star at Roma

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

José Mourinho has reportedly asked the AS Roma board to sign Real Madrid’s Belgian forward Eden Hazard in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Hazard has been in terrible form since making the move from Chelsea to Los Blancos in the summer of 2019 for €115 million. He suffered multiple muscle injuries and was also accused of lack of discipline off the pitch.

For that reason, the Belgian international made only 43 appearances for Zinedine Zidane’s side over the two seasons and managed to score just five goals.

Recent reports are coming that The 30-year-old winger does not want to stay at the Capital of Spain and is looking to leave the club with three years remaining in his current contract. La Liga giants are also hoping to offload the forward in the summer if a significant offer comes on the table.

Can Mourinho sign Hazard at Roma from Real Madrid?

According to Deportes Cuatro, the future of Hazard in Real Madrid is currently hanging in the air following the uncertainty over the future of Zinedine Zidane who wanted the Belgian at the club.

The report is saying, Mourinho’s new team Roma wants Eden Hazard at the capital of Italy on loan for one season. The offer is on the table and we will have to wait for the movements on the white bench to see in which direction they move.

Hazard has expressed his desire to reunite with his former Chelsea boss Mourinho, he said, “If they asked me now about a coach with whom I would like to work again, I would say Mourinho. I don’t usually regret things, but one of the things that I do is not being able to work with Mourinho at Chelsea anymore ”.

It will be interesting to see what will happen with Hazard next season. If Zidane decides to leave and the Belgian also decides to reunite with his former boss then Roma will be a force to reckon with in the next season under José Mourinho. And if the Giallorossi can provide all the reinforcements that Mourinho will ask for the next season
