Vikram Partap Singh has extended his contract with the Islanders for a another three years. Keeping him with the team through May 2026.
Mumbai City’s ISL League Shield-winning campaign last season was greatly aided by the 21-year-old precocious striker. He had already cemented his place as a key component of Des Buckingham’s side. Singh, who plays on the flanks or in the centre of the attack, contributed five goals in the 2022–23 season. Including the decisive late winner against Jamshedpur FC in the league. And another goal against them in the Hero Club Playoffs.
Vikram was born in Chandigarh. He started playing football as a kid at the Chandigarh Football Academy before making the transition to adult football in 2018. There he played for and even served as captain of the Indian Arrows. He scored five goals in 27 appearances for Indian Arrows over the course of two seasons, earning him a reputation as one of the most promising young footballers in the country with a strong eye for goal. Vikram, who was just 18 years old, joined Mumbai City FC before to the 2020–21 season after his success in the I-League was noted.
Singh has made waves for the Indian National Team at the U-16, U-17, and U-20 levels. He was a major contributor to India’s successful performance at the 2018 AFC U-16 Championship. Although he has a call up from the senior team, the 21-year-old has not yet represented his country abroad.

I want to keep developing, contribute much more to my team and more importantly, win more titles for the Club and for our fans.”
