Napoli needs to continue the smart spending in order to secure the title

FINANCIAL FAIR PLAY

The Azzurri have been a solid team in the Italian league for a few years now. However, the club has always struggled to dominate the league for a long period of time. Napoli have finally found the balance in the squad which has yielded excellent results.

Luciano Spalletti was appointed after Gennaro Gattuso was sacked by the club in a moment of uncertainty. The club from Naples has tried Rafael Benitez, Maurizio Sarri, Carlo Ancelotti, and Gennaro Gattuso in the last decade in an attempt to win the title. However, none of them was able to get close to the Scudetto.

The club appointed Luciano Spalletti in a moment of uncertainty with the object of rebuilding. However, the manager has turned things around seamlessly and made Napoli into a force. The club sold their star defender, Kalidou Koulibaly to Chelsea this summer and reinvested very smartly.

Napoli needs to continue investing smartly in the long run

The club bought Kim Min-Jae from the Turkish league to replace their former captain. The signing has effortlessly replaced the outgoing Koulibaly and helped the club go from strength to strength. However, the club also invested smartly by bringing Giacomo Raspadori and Giovanni Simeone on loan.

The Azzurri also completed the full signing of Fulham midfielder Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa. The midfielder has added steel to the lineup and allows Piotr Zielinski to play further up the pitch. However, the best acquisition by the club has been the Georgian winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Georgian has lit up the Serie A this year and continues to perform well. Napoli has seamlessly replaced star players like Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens in the attacking setup. The club is playing amazing football and have opened up an authoritative 9-point gap at the top. The club needs to continue the smart spending in January and reinforce vulnerable positions!!
