Paris Saint-Germain are in line to plot a move for Chelsea Forward Romelu Lukaku. The Parisians are reportedly exploring all the possibilities to sign the Belgian this summer. The 28-year-old was recently the topic of discussion in world football due to his comments on Sky Italia. Lukaku’s controversial comments were indicating the fact that he is pushing for a move back to Inter Milan.
Lukaku received a lot of backlash from all the Chelsea fans in England and all over the world. The Blues manager Thomas Tuchel did not hold back and condemned the Belgian’s comments. However, after Lukaku’s public apology he has found himself back in the playing 11 after being dropped for several weeks.
Despite coming back into the squad, Romelu Lukaku’s future at Stamford Bridge is quite uncertain. His performances have not been as impressive as they were during his 2-year stint at Inter Milan. Chelsea’s loss against Manchester City by 1-0 have put them 12 points behind the league leaders. A lot of questions are being raised at Lukaku and the Blues after they managed to get only one shot on target against City.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly tracing Lukaku’s development at Chelsea. PSG could see Kylian Mbappe leave the club this summer and join Real Madrid as a free agent. The French giants are hoping to replace Mbappe with the former Manchester United man.

Reports are suggesting that Chelsea are prepared to sell him next summer. PSG on the other hand are well aware of Mbappe’s situation and they are in line to replace him with Romelu Lukaku. Mauricio Pochetinno’s side are preparing themselves for a mouth-watering clash against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
The Round of 16’s first-leg will take place on February. It will be a mouth-watering clash for a lot of reasons. Firstly, Kylian Mbappe is being constantly linked with the Los Blancos. Secondly, it will be for the first time that Lionel Messi will face Real Madrid for a club other than FC Barcelona. Lastly and the most important reason is Sergio Ramos, who will be against his former club where he won 4 UCL trophies.
The Ligue 1 giants are ready to offer an amount of £75 Million to secure a move for Lukaku. However, it will hugely depend upon Mbappe’s decision later this summer. Lukaku has found the back of the net just eight times with two assists in 20 games this season.
