AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has boldly claimed that his side are “cured” following a series of impressive performances in recent weeks. Milan’s form has picked up in the latter half of the season, with the team currently sitting in second place in the Serie A table. Pioli credits this upturn in form to the fact that his players are “back to smiling” again.

Milan had a difficult start to the season, with Pioli coming under intense scrutiny following a string of poor results. However, the Rossoneri have since gone on a remarkable run of form, winning nine of their last 10 games. This run of form has propelled Milan up the Serie A table, and they now find themselves just four points behind league leaders Inter Milan.
Pioli believes that the reason for Milan’s recent success is that his players are finally enjoying themselves again.
“We’re cured,”
he said in a recent interview.
“We’ve managed to get back to the smiling faces of the players, and that’s what we need.”
