Defense
A string of difficult, crucial games that have resulted in major injuries. It has put a lot of strain on the entire team. It has left Barcelona weary and needing to find the will to play one more strong game. Due to the severe injury situation, Xavi has very few alternatives. Young Fermin López, who is gaining playing time and consistently makes an impact with his vigor and attacking purpose, might then make his debut. Oriol Romeu and Gavi would preferably fill the other two midfield positions for Barcelona. Sergi Roberto might possibly join the squad if Xavi chooses to rest both Romeu and Gavi.
Attack
