PSG likely to sign two world class forwards to assist Mbappe

Real Madrid

PSG have seen their ideal Lionel Messi replacement in Manchester City star, according to reports. Hence they intend to sabotage Manchester United and Manchester City’s ambitions to provide Kylian Mbappe with two all-star attacking mates. When it was first created, a front three of Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar was the talk of the town. However, just two years later, the much-touted front three has collapsed. Hence PSG’s hunt for a first-ever Champions League title continues.

PSG likely to sign a right winger and a striker

Messi will join MLS club Inter Miami, while PSG hopes to offload Neymar. Mbappe is the one they hope to develop around. According to French outlet Le Parisien, Manchester United and Manchester City’s ambitions might be derailed in order to offer the Frenchman with fresh attacking partners.

Firstly, Man City’s Bernardo Silva, is certain to be PSG’s preferred successor to Lionel Messi. Silva’s goal tally isn’t comparable to Messi’s. But PSG is looking to put up a more hardworking team that does not rely on individual brilliance to achieve its goals. Silva is versatile and devoted. Thus Pep Guardiola frequently selects him in the front three for Man City’s most difficult games.

PSG apparently wants Silva to play in the front three in Paris. While Victor Osimhen, a Manchester United target, is the second player desired to complete the forward line alongside Kylian Mbappe. The Napoli striker has recently finished a great season in Italy. In 39 games with Napoli, Osimhen scored 31 goals and assisted on five others. His services as the team’s captain helped Napoli win their first domestic title since 1990. Osimhen and Harry Kane are largely certain as the two strikers on Man United’s radar as Erik ten Hag looks for a starting centre-forward. Chelsea also has shown interest in Osimhen. Though the Times reports that the Blues are now targeting Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan.

Les Parisiens considers it difficult to sign Silva and Osimhen

On if deals for Silva and Osimhen are possible, Le Parisien admits that getting Silva away from the Etihad will be difficult. Silva is under contract until 2025 and has remained in Manchester despite being extensively linked with a move away every summer. Silva has won the trust of Guardiola, who has says that he will not let go of his attacker unless a ‘sizeable amount’ arrives. Meanwhile, Osimhen is projected to cost more than £100 million if he is permitted to leave Naples. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has already stated that there is “no way” Osimhem will leave the club this summer.
