Raheem Sterling, Edinson Cavani and Timo Werner on FC Barcelona Transfer targets for the La Liga club Barcelona. FC Barcelona’s current season has been plagued due to a string of poor performances and a long list of injuries. The La Liga giants signed Sergio Aguero for free this summer. But unfortunately, the Argentine will not be able to play in 2021 as he will undergo a Heart Operation.

Therefore, bringing a replacement for him is a must for the Catalonian side. As reports suggest, FC Barcelona is keeping tabs on 3 Strikers that they will try to bring to Camp Nou. The 5-times UEFA Champions League winners are all set to begin a new Venture under Head Coach Xavi Hernandez. FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta claimed that the side is ready to enter the market after a summer of cutting costs.

FC Barcelona has identified a “Trio” of Forwards which includes Manchester City’s, Raheem Sterling. He has started just 3 games this season. Manchester United’s Edinson Cavani is also on the Club’s Radar whose Contract runs out at the end of the season. Chelsea Forward Timo Werner has also been on the Clubs Target but could be doubtful to return this year after he also sustained an injury.

Can Xavi revive FC Barcelona after their Summer signings failed to Shine

FC Barcelona saw one of the toughest times this summer as the Club under Former President Josep Bartomeu sunk under a Huge amount of Debt. The Club had to let their Talismanic Forward Lionel Messi go away due to Financial regulations in La Liga. They signed Dutch striker Memphis Depay from Lyon and brought Luuk De Jong from Sevilla on Loan while Ronald Koeman was in charge.

Unfortunately for FC Barcelona, nothing went as they had planned. The Dutch Duo has failed to perform the way the Fans and the Coach had expected. A string of defeats saw Ronald Koeman getting after just a year as FC Barcelona Head Coach. The Club is currently sitting at the 9th spot in the La Liga points table with just 4 wins. They are currently 9 points behind League leaders Real Sociedad.

The problems deepened with an injury to Ansu Fati recently, while Ousmane Dembele also suffered a fresh injury setback and there is a suggestion that Luuk de Jong’s loan deal from Sevilla will be cut short in January.

The future of all three FC Barcelona Targets appears uncertain right now. None of them is the First Choice players in their current teams, the Trio may be open to a move should the right once the right offer Arrives.
