Ronaldo asked to make decision regarding Real Madrid

Keylor Navas

Before departing the team in the summer of 2018 to join Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed a legendary 9-year career with Real Madrid. His career hasn’t progressed as well as he had intended since then, though. He had a respectable individual career in Turin, but the team appeared to regress and fell short of their major aim at the time—winning the Champions League.

In order to complete his sensational comeback to Manchester United, Ronaldo would depart Juventus in 2021. But that also came to an unexpected conclusion, which somewhat diminished the Portuguese superstar’s reputation at Old Trafford.

He is currently at Al-Nassr. Such a move would have appeared inconceivable even a year ago.
Again, Ronaldo has a strong individual record, but Al-Nassr have fallen in the league standings and lost cup games since his arrived. And there are already concerns about his long-term prospects.
Ronaldo has been urged to make a return to Real Madrid. As reported by AS, Rivaldo said:

“It would be good for him and for football to see Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Real Madrid to finish his career. Of course, the fans have to understand that they cannot demand the same from him as when he was 25 or 26 years old, but he can still help the club in more conquests.”
For so many years, Ronaldo has been a great player. But it’s time to acknowledge that he is no longer in his prime and is instead in the latter stages of his career.

Difficult for Ronaldo to return as a player to Real Madrid

Even if there was a chance for Real Madrid to do so in the future, it would be intriguing to see if they would bring him back as a player. The club has been quite shrewd in recent years when it comes to transfers, so making such a move would undoubtedly carry many risks. So, let’s wait and see what the future brings and whether Ronaldo ever comes back to Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid are not planning to make any big moves this summer, having already secured the return of Fran Garcia and are close to signing Bellingham. The departure of some players, especially Eden Hazard, would serve to open the door to the arrival of new players.
Los Blancos are keeping an eye on the young winger, but he may not join the team unless certain players go.
