Sancho to United, Here we go…again

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

You read that right. Manchester United are after the same winger they wanted and did not want at the same time. The entire transfer saga was so elaborate and detailed that I will not be surprised if Amazon blocks the deal this time just to make this run for 5 seasons. The only character who will not appear this season will be Ed Woodward. Involvement in the European Super League did enough damage for the show creators, the Glazers, to remove him.

Another season, another proven performance by Sancho, another season where Old Trafford thinks they need a right winger but the new season is set to bring the game to another level.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer still believes that the same board that vetoed the deal will listen to his pleas. No trophies yet again but enough improvement to show that all that the baby-faced assassin needed was the weapon of his choice.

Sancho wanted by others

Just as we had predicted last season, Manchester United are not the only ones for Sancho now. Chelsea, Liverpool and other major clubs are after the versatile winger. After all, he scored 16 and assisted 20 in the 2020-21 season.

Manchester United seems to be the most realistic destination for the England International. Borussia Dortmund were pretty firm with their stand last season and they are inclined towards a deal this summer.

The Euros are in another 2 weeks and his performance will play a very crucial role for his future club. Fabrizio Romano might as well attach another pair of thumbs if he wants to be the first to report any developments.

The Situation

We have started of with where we left last season. £80 million is the price to be paid. Manchester United almost had the deal last season only for Time to play villain. This time they got more enemies. Will Old Trafford see a new face ( the one that the manager wants)? Has Sancho changed his mind over the last season? Only Time will tell. How’s that for a trailer, Amazon?
