Sunil Chhetri as a Footballer:

Sunil Chhetri thinks there’s more work to do to make football better. He wants to see 20 teams in both ISL and I-League so more good players can show their skills. He says places like Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andamans, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, and Delhi should join in too.

Sunil Chhetri also talked about helping young players get better. He mentioned two places, Reliance Foundation and Bengaluru FC’s center in Bellary, that are doing a good job. He said clubs should help players grow and play for them, so they stay loyal and clubs don’t need to spend lots of money.

Sunil Chhetri also talked about players who were born in other countries but play for India. He thinks it’s okay for a little while, but he wants more focus on Indian players. Sunil Chhetri wants us to grow our own talent so we can be strong in the future.
