Takehiro Tomiyasu and Thomas Partey Return Dates Anticipated

Takehiro Tomiyasu, Thomas Partey, and Mohamed Elneny are expected to be ready for Arsenal’s match against Liverpool in the FA Cup third round.

The three are hoping to play on January 7 before departing for international duty. They are now in sidelines due to injuries, but they are recovering nicely.
Tomiyasu will represent Japan at the Asian Cup. While Elneny and Partey will represent Egypt and Ghana, respectively. At the Africa Cup of Nations.

Partey hasn’t played since October because of a thigh injury. Elneny hasn’t played since last week after hurting his hamstring against PSV Eindhoven, and Tomiyasu hurt his calf at the beginning of December.

Although Liverpool’s visit in early January is the intended comeback date. They may make an earlier appearance—Partey, in particular, is nearing his return.
The midfield player is eager to return, although he did not participate in full training on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old is optimistic he will be prepare for the Ivory Coast competition, which kicks off on January 13. Ghana plays Cape Verde the next day.

Japan will kick off their campaign against Vietnam two days after the Asian Cup. Which is being held in Qatar, opens on January 12.

Prior to their friendly match against Thailand in Tokyo on New Year’s Day, Japan will train together for four days.

However, Tomiyasu is not in inclusion in the team for that. Kaoru Mitoma of Brighton has also been excluded since the friendly coincides with a Premier League match.
