Indian Super League 2022–23 runners-up Bengaluru FC has signed Dutch midfielder Keziah Veendorp on a two-year deal. Veendorp joins Bengaluru from Eredivisie (the Netherlands top-tier football league) side FC Emmen. The 26-year-old Dutch international joins the club as their sixth foreigner.
Player Profile: Keziah Veendorp
The Sappemeer-born defensive midfielder, Keziah Veendorp, started his youth career with FVV Foxhol in 2005. Later, he moved to VV Hoogezand. But soon, he returned to play for his local club, Groningen.
In February 2016, Keziah Veendorp made his debut for his local club. During this time, he made more than 70 appearances for his local club across different age groups. Later in July 2017, Veendorp was signed by FC Emmen on a free transfer.
Since then, he has made a total of 173 appearances for the club. With FC Emmen, Veendorp played more than 100 games in the Eredivisie. In 2022, he also won the Dutch second-tier championship with FC Emmen.

Due to his positional awareness and accurate passing ability, Veendorp has been successful in every position he plays. Keziah Veendorp, who will also add solidity to BFC’s defensive transitions, is going to be one of Simon Grayson’s biggest assets in the upcoming season.
