Questions On Rudiger’s fitness to play El Clasico
The Real Madrid defender is currently dealing with a horrible injury. He got a facial injury in the Los Blancos match against Shakhtar Donetsk. Although Rudiger was instrumental in putting the ball in the net in their fixture in UEFA Champions League, he collided with Donetsk’s goalkeeper and had to be given immediate medical care.
Following a few days, he did not train with his teammates at Santiago Bernabéu. This has raised doubts over his ability to play in the all-important match.
Carlo Ancelotti has great options in the form of David Alaba and Eder Militao. It is probable, the German defender might not start the match against Barcelona but can be considered for substitution.
