Xavi wants to bring Al-Sadd Striker Baghdad Bounedjah at FC Barcelona? The New Barca Head Coach has added Algerian International to his list of potential signings during the Winters of 2022. Xavi has previously managed Baghdad during his tenure at Al-Sadd as their Head coach. After losing their Talismanic striker Lionel Messi, FC Barcelona announced Ansu Fati as their new Number 10.

The Catalonian Outfit has a long list of Injuries to look after. Sergio Aguero’s comeback on a Football pitch might take longer than expected due to his Cardiac issues. Fichajes claims that Xavi has set his sights on a reunion with Al-Sadd’s Bounedjah. The Algerian boasts a staggering record from his time with the Qatari side. The Algeria international has scored 159 goals and set up 44 more in 153 games for Al-Sadd. He has found the back of the Net 22 times in 49 appearances for his country. The 29-year-old will be keen on a move to FC Barcelona where he will get more exposure and most importantly he will get to play in the UEFA Champions League.

FC Barcelona resigned the services of prolific Right Back Dani Alves who has previously won 19 trophies with the club. Xavi will be delighted to welcome the Brazilian Veteran as FC Barcelona is moving towards a phase of bringing silverware back to Camp Nou.

Bounedjah finished as the top scorer in the 2020-21 Qatar Stars League with 21 goals. The Algerian International still has 3 years left on his current contract with Al-Sadd.

Xavi will take charge of his first Barcelona game as Manager on November 21 as they will Welcome 11th placed RCD Espanyol at the Camp Nou.
