Arda Guler spent the majority of his early career in his native Turkey, where he played for Genclerbirligi SK and Fenerbahce in his youth development. The 18-year-old graduated from Fenerbahce’s academy and became a regular in the club’s first team during the 2022/23 season. However, his time in Turkey came to an end last summer when Real Madrid acquired his services.
Real Madrid invested approximately €20 million to bring Guler from Fenerbahce. Unfortunately, the Turkish international has not been able to make his mark for Real Madrid thus far. Primarily due to a knee injury that has kept him on the sidelines. Nonetheless, Guler’s potential is highly regarded. Since, there are widespread reports suggesting that Real Madrid envisions a promising future for the young talent.
Will Real Madrid loan out Arda Guler?
Following a prolonged wait for his debut at Real Madrid, the young talent might benefit from a loan move away from the Santiago Bernabeu. The promising teenager has garnered interest from several clubs, with recent reports linking him to Real Betis and Sevilla. However, another club is exploring the possibility of securing him in a permanent transfer.
According to the report, AC Milan is planning to acquire Guler on a permanent transfer in 2024 and is willing to offer €20 million for the 18-year-old summer signing. However, Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, has not yet made a decision regarding how to proceed if an offer is received from the Rossoneri.
