Barcelona still aiming for Villarreal right-back Juan Foyth

Juan

Barcelona is still looking for La Liga right-back Juan Foyth. Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo Barcelona’s interest still remains in the 24-year-old fullback.

Barcelona is in need of a right back even after signing Hector Bellerin a few months ago. Now Juan Foyth remains to be Barcelona’s one of key target. But Barcelona at the moment is hesitant to make an official contract with Foyth as their aim is to resolve their financial play situation.

Even though Barcelona was previously looking for a move for Foyth, his injury forced the club to go for Bellerin instead. Now Barcelona yet again shows their interest in the Argentine right back.

JUAN FOYTH TO BARCELONA?

Barcelona management is looking to get Thomas Meunier or Diogo Dalot. The Catalans are really looking for a Diogo Dalot move that will strengthen their right-back position.

However, Juan Foyth remains to be Xavi’s preference because of his experience in La Liga. However, the player is currently on a contract with Villareal till 2026. It will be tough for Barcelona to sign the Argentine right back. Also, his bidding is said to start from 40 million euros. Barcelona can’t really afford it due to their financial crisis at the moment.

Barcelona is also in talks with Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard even though it’s more likely just an attempt from their side.

Hence currently, Barcelona directors Alemany and Jordi Cruyff are looking for Foyth, Meunier, and Dalot. Even though Hellerin wants to play with the Catalans, his time in Barcelona might have come to an end. Even though his recent signing, Barcelona is not interested in the ex-Arsenal player.

With Hector’s future uncertain, Barcelona will surely sign a right back in the near future. Juan Foyth will remain their main target even though Dalot seems to be Barcelona’s primary interest.
