Bayern Munich annoyed with Alphonso Davies agent amidst rumors

Italian goalkeeper

Real Madrid has maintained a long-standing interest in Bayern Munich left-back, Alphonso Davies. The Merengues hold the Canadian talent in high regard due to his full-back abilities. Thus, they consider him the prime candidate to assume the left-back role for the team next season.

Despite the high-profile nature of this connection to a player from a direct European rival, there has been no effort to keep it under wraps. Real Madrid’s interest in Davies has become widely known. To the extent that even the player’s own representatives openly acknowledge and encourage this interest.

According to reports from BILD, the management at Bayern Munich is notably vexed by Davies’ agent. That is openly discussing and hinting at his client’s potential transfer to Real Madrid. Understandably, they view this behavior as disrespectful, particularly towards the player’s current club and his existing loyalties.

Bayern Munich left back Davies agent sparks controversy

His agent said: “He played with Alaba for 3 years, they are friends, they talk all the time. Whatever conversations they have together privately, Davies doesn’t share with me every information about it.”

All these statements regarding his future and the open discussion of a potential move to Real Madrid have apparently not been well-received by Bayern Munich. They now find themselves frustrated by Huoseh’s remarks.

Alphonso Davies’ existing contract with Bayern Munich is to expire in 2025. However, by the upcoming summer, he will have just one year remaining on his contract, which could put pressure on the Bavarians to consider selling him if he does not agree to a new deal.

The German club is eager to extend his contract and secure his long-term future. Therefore, a significant part of the potential move to Real Madrid hinges on whether or not he agrees to a contract renewal with Bayern Munich. At present, he remains their top choice for the full-back position in the upcoming summer transfer window.
