Benjamin Sesko has been in the headlines for quite some time now. The Slovenian International has been on Ten Hag’s radar and has been scouting then forward. The 19-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in world football. The RB Salzburg striker was impressive for his club last season and scored 11 goals for the Austrian club. RB Salzburg values their young striker at a high value and feels that he is untouchable until someone meets the price.
Erik Ten Hag has had a rough start at his new club. The Former Ajax boss feels that he has too much to change at the club and is already facing big challenges at the club. The lack of proper players that can fit in his system has forced the Red Devils to get out in the market. Ten Hag has already landed the likes of Malacia, Eriksen, and Martinez. Now he wants the management to focus on the attack as Cristiano Ronaldo is 37 and does not offer that much.
Ten Hag’s management of Ronaldo is also quite questionable. The Manchester United faithful feel that if Ronaldo has to leave for the long term, then that should happen. However, Erik Ten Hag has been adamant about keeping Ronaldo and has insisted that he is not for sale. The new boss is counting on the Portuguese but doubts are raised if Ronaldo can do what Ten Hag wants.
Sesko Prefers Real Madrid Over The Red Devils
Reportedly, Benjamin Sesko is eyeing a move to Real Madrid this summer, if he does in fact leave. The 19-year-old has no intention to join Manchester United and has communicated this to his club. Madrid is known to be his dream move and it would make sense with Benzema aging.
Carlo Ancelotti is desperate to bring a new striker to the club to play second fiddle to Benzema. Luka Jovic has departed the club and the only backup striker at the club is Mariano. The Spaniard has not at all impressed Ancelotti who is looking to part ways with him as well. Sesko has been on Madrid’s shortlist as well. He may just be one for the future if Real Madrid gets him.
