Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has played down the fact that the La Liga title race is over. The Los Blancos have 15 point lead in the La Liga. Still, six are left to play and if all the results go in their way, then they could win the title as soon as the next matchday.

Press Conference of Ancelotti

Ancelotti in his recent press conference said about the La Liga title celebrations. He said:

“It’s true that we’re close to winning the league, but we still have games to play. I have too much experience too. It’s true that we’re very close and we’re doing well. But it isn’t over yet. Tomorrow is a great opportunity to get closer,

The count we do is quite simple. It’s getting three points against Osasuna, then getting three points against Espanyol, and if we need more, getting three points against Atletico. I’m not a mathematician, I prefer history.”

Moreover, Ancelotti also talked about the unavailable players for the match against Osasuna. Midfielders, Luka Modric and Casemiro will not feature in the match. Modric is out because of tiredness and Casemiro because of a minor injury. Karim Benzema, who is in the form of his life, will feature in the game.

“When a player is okay, they don’t need to rest. He isn’t tired, he doesn’t have a strain, so there’s no sense in not picking him. He’s in form and I’ll pick him tomorrow.”

Ancelotti moved from Everton to Real Madrid and has transformed Madrid into one of the most feared teams. This title will make him the first manager to win all the big five leagues of Europe. The Italian is one of the best coaches in the world and has taken Madrid back to the pinnacle of success. They will also face Manchester City in the semifinals of the champions league.
