Eddie Nketiah Believed to be Rasmus Replacement

Eddie Nketiah - Arsenal

Tim Sherwood, the former Tottenham manager, believes that Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal is a striker who Manchester United should look into signing. Because he would be an improvement over Rasmus Hojlund. Last Saturday, Nketiah gave Sheffield United fans something to remember. With an incredible hat-trick he scored during a 5-0 rout of the Blades.

After assuming a more significant role in Gabriel Jesus’s absence due to an injury early in the season. He currently has five goals in 10 games this season. He later sustained another injury against Sevilla and is anticipated to remain out of commission for an extended length of time, giving Nketiah the opportunity to take center stage once more.

Sherwood feels that Nketiah should have started for many other Premier League teams, including United, and that it is terrible that he is now below Jesus in the Arsenal hierarchy.

Doubts Surround

“I feel sorry for Eddie because people always, even Arsenal fans, ask questions about him and look at what he can’t do,” Sherwood told Sky Sports. “I like to observe their abilities. He is a versatile player that can play for several large clubs.

“You’re telling me that instead of Hojlund, this child couldn’t play for Manchester United right now? He is superior to Hojlund.

Top Player

They lavished a ridiculous amount of cash on him. He’s top drawer for me. He deserves to be playing for Arsenal at the top of the Premier League, in my opinion.”

Sherwood went on to suggest that playing alongside Jesus has helped Nketiah to reach his full potential with the Gunners, who will be relying on him to keep providing the goals until the Brazilian forward recovers.
