Eden Hazard could be back at Chelsea

Real Madrid flop Eden Hazard could move back to Chelsea after failing to prove himself in the La Liga. The transfer is a possibility in the summer.

Hazard and his downfall

Eden Hazard moved to Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019 for a reported fee of €100 million. But, the winger has not been able to perform up to his standards for the Los Blancos. Before moving, the Belgian Winger was one of the best wingers in the world. But, his Real Madrid career is not up to the expectations of the fans. Hazard has been tagged as one of the biggest flops in the club’s history, three years after his transfer.

He has scored six goals in 65 appearances, not living up to his fame in London where he guided Chelsea to two Premier League and Europa League titles. Moreover, he even steered Belgium to a third-place finish at the World Cup last summer.

His downfall primarily started because of his injuries. Hazard has featured rarely for Real this season and will also miss the Champions League match against Chelsea. The Belgian Winger will undergo surgery for his right leg to remove a plate.

He will be sidelined for the next 6 weeks due to his recent injury. His injury-prone career with Real Madrid has raised some serious questions about his future. Hazard’s Real Madrid Contract runs till 2024, but Real will try to offload the forward in the summer. He is expected to join a team on loan with his former employers Chelsea in serious contention to sign him back.

Chelsea fans will love to see the former star back at Stamford Bridge. The Belgian Captain is capable to rediscover his lost form and can overshadow Chelsea’s current attackers. Chelsea fans believe that he can play and perform better than both Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic.

The summer window could bring back hope for Hazard who can move away from Real Madrid and end his misery.
