About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

FC Barcelona is nine games into the new season in which they have turned up spectacularly.  The club is already preparing to strengthen the weak spots the following summer. Barcelona is apparently already planning their summer 2019 signings, with a new right-back being their primary priority. Barcelona made some significant progress in the summer in addressing a number of their issues, but the right-back position was not one of them. Despite his transfer from Arsenal, Hector Bellerin is still the team’s sole logical choice to fill the post.

Xavi has opted to start Araujo and Kounde in the right back while Roberto remains an option. With Bellerin, the club has a cover for the right-back for at least a season.

The Spanish Left-back arrived on a free deal after he agreed to terminate his contract with the North London side mutually. The signing of Bellerin was a last-minute effort after Dest left for AC Milan. The initial plan was to sign Azpilicueta from Chelsea. However, the club captain instead chooses to extend his stay in the Premier League.

FC Barcelona plans to spend big on a left-back

The most recent information provided by Gerard Romero indicates that Barcelona’s top objective for the summer of 2023 will be to resolve their right-back issue finally. One of the names that Romero has mentioned is Trent Alexander Arnold. Trent is one of the best right-backs at the moment. While the Spanish reporter explains the deal as a tough challenge, he also says that it is not impossible since Barcelona will have the capability to spend huge to bring the correct profile in.

However, Liverpool would fight until the last to not let one of the essential players leave. In the end, it would come to the player’s intention. The club is also studying other options that are not clear now.
