Man united and Liverpool chase Barca winger Dembele

According to Nacional, the France international continues to make things very difficult for Barca. He is ‘committing himself to rejecting all proposals that have been presented to him‘. His current contract expires in a year. Hence he is currently “assessing the options he has on the table”. Barcelona manager Xavi has taken it upon himself to personally speak with ‘El Mosquito’ in order to persuade him not to leave. But he has ‘achieved absolutely nothing’, with ‘everything wide open’. According to the source, he is ‘closer to packing his bags than staying’ because he wants a greater pay than Barcelona is likely to offer given their financial woes.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United have extremely shown ‘interest’ in taking advantage of his ‘ridiculous’ €50 million release clause. Dembele is reported to be a ‘personal request of Jurgen Klopp’. Moreover Manchester United have also ‘appeared’ as Erik ten Hag ‘looks for new reinforcements for the attacking options,’ after Jadon Sancho, Antony and Anthony Martial were unable to ‘convince’ the Dutch manager.

United have’reserved’ Dembele’s No.7 shirt, which has been vacated by Cristiano Ronaldo. They’ve reserved two shirts, with Nacional claiming they’ll preserve No.10 for Vinicius Junior.

However, Ousmane Dembele spoke out about his intentions. He also stated firmly that his future is with Barcelona.

“I’ve been a Barça fan since I was little, I’ve always been a fan of this team. I feel very good here and I hope to become a a great player here.”
