For season tickets at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City has an astounding 120,000 supporters on the waiting list. Thus, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to purchase access to every home game.

Manchester City had the success and overbearing demand to view players like Erling Haaland, De Bruyne in action. However, one of the key figures in the boardroom at the City Football Academy is pushing for increased revenue.

What did Manchester City official say about boost in revenue?

Chief Operating Officer Roel De Vries has been emphasizing the necessity for Etihad to boost revenue. Thus, stating that it is crucial “if we want to stay competitive in the world of football and be in the top group when it comes to performance. We cannot easily expand the (Etihad) stadium beyond 60,000. So then we have to figure out, ‘How can we squeeze a lot more out of the stadium?’”
