Manchester United is hoping to buy a new striker in the summer with England Captain Harry Kane on top of their wishlist. The Spurs number 10 is in great form this season. He along with Heung Min Son is enjoying a wonderful spell for Spurs. Moreover, he has always been destined to play for a big club and this can turn into reality next summer.

Manchester City also tried to sign Kane last season, but Spurs were firm enough to hold on to their star striker. Kane, who will turn 29 this July has 2 years left on his Spurs contract.

Tottenham fans are hoping that their team finishes in the top 4 this season so that Kane will extend his stay in North London. Kane’s relationship with Spurs manager Conte will surely play a part in his decisions.

Manchester United other options

Manchester United is looking to replace Edison Cavani for next season. They had also tried for Haaland, but his huge transfer fee could be an obstacle. So they have reignited their interest in Kane who could leave Spurs for €100 million.

United also has cheaper options on their wishlist. Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak is one of them. The 22-year old Swedish striker is one of the hottest properties of Europe. He is wanted by top European Clubs and United is one of them. The striker is available for €60 million and is a cheaper and long-term option for Harry Kane.

Manchester United is looking to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Their qualification will definitely open doors for star players to join United for their rebuild. Players like Harry Kane can surely be persuaded by the club if they can qualify for the Champion’s league.

On the other hand, Spurs will be looking to cash in their star man. They can use the funds from Kane’s transfer to buy new players for the future.
