Manchester United midfielder Van de Beek asks for Real Madrid move

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Manchester United midfielder Donny Van De Beek has reportedly asked his agent to arrange a move to Real Madrid as per the report in Spanish outlet Defensa Central(via SportsMole).

The 24-years-old signed for the Red Devils last summer from Ajax Amsterdam for around €39 million. However, the move hasn’t gone according to the plans as the midfielder has found it difficult to break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting eleven, making only four starts in the Premier League since last season.

According to the report, although there are rumours about the Netherland international could leave Old Trafford for Everton in January. The Spanish reports are suggesting that Van De Beek has a dream of playing for Real Madrid. And he has asked his agent to secure a move to the Spanish capital in January.

A recent report from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Dutchman has a huge chance of leaving the club in January. As the player has become frustrated with the lack of game-time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Van de Beek could join Real Madrid in January:

Selling Van De Beek after just one and a half years will be a big loss for Manchester United. However, it is quite understandable why the player is willing to leave the club. The manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no intention of giving the Dutchman a proper run of games at Old Trafford.

Despite the poor performances from the other midfield options. The 24-years-old was not given any chance to prove himself in the Premier League. The midfielder has already displayed tidy performances whenever he played for Manchester United. And it was bemusing to experience a player of the Dutchman’s quality sitting on the bench week in week out.

So, it will be the right decision for Van de Beek to find a different club where he can play regular first-team football and Real Madrid could be a perfect destination as the Spanish club were interested in signing the midfielder before the 24-years-old’s move to the Red Devils.
