PSG star Marco Verratti seems interested to join Real Madrid. Real Madrid have had Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in their midfield for nearly ten years. However, age appears to be catching up with the two superstars, as evidenced by their 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Manchester City. As a result, Los Blancos must act quickly to add some more alternatives in the middle of the park.
Marco Verratti wants a move to Santiago Bernabeu
Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Fede Valverde are already excellent future alternatives for Real Madrid. With the three of them plus the possible addition of Jude Bellingham, the midfield may be set for the next decade. However, with all of them still being very young, Los Blancos might benefit from some coated midfield presence if Modric and Kroos leave at the same time. And it appears that a Paris Saint-Germain star is interested in a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to RMC Sport, Marco Verratti is willing to leave during the next summer transfer window. Real Madrid is one of his top interests, and he has maintained a strong relationship with Carlo Ancelotti.
PSG appear to be planning for a lot of modifications this summer, after failing to deliver in the Champions League for the second time. Verratti might be a headline name to leave the club. The Italian midfielder appears to be keen to the notion of finding a fresh adventure elsewhere. However, Real Madrid has not shown interest in signing Verratti. Los Blancos appear to be entirely focused on completing a deal for Bellingham. Verratti joined PSG in 2012, but it appears that his time at the club is coming to an end. Returning to Italy could be an option for him. However, a move to Real Madrid is doubtful.
