Italian football giants Juventus have denied recent claims that they are in talks with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba over a new contract. However, Juventus have now released a statement refuting these claims.
The statement from Juventus reads: “Regarding the rumours of negotiations for the renewal of Paul Pogba’s contract, Juventus Football Club S.p.A. clarifies that it is not true.” This comes as a surprise to many, as Pogba spent four successful seasons at Juventus between 2012 and 2016, winning four Serie A titles and reaching the Champions League final in 2015.
